Fall 2022

iPad Initiative at Mills College

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance learning mobility and flexibility, the university will provide all students starting at Mills College at Northeastern this fall 2022 with a new Apple iPad Air at no additional cost. Each mobile device will include helpful accessories to make the most of the tablet, as well as a 12-month premium 5G cellular plan for connecting directly through the iPad itself, or by using the iPad as a hotspot for other devices. Here are some great resources to explore as you get up and running with your new iPad.

Apple iPad Air, 5th Gen

With Verizon 5G service and 64 GB of storage, this lightweight tablet is a handy companion on campus, around the city, and beyond.

Magic Keyboard

The magic keyboard’s built-in trackpad and other features provide a great typing and computer-like experience for the tablet.

Apple Pencil, 2nd Gen

A digital writing implement enhances note-taking, drawing, and other ways of expressing thoughts and creative ideas.

Computers For Less

For other student computer needs, the Northeastern Computer Discounts website is the gateway to exclusive discounts and recommended laptops.
